Habit Tracker 2027
The habit tracker, mood tracker and monthly review a spreadsheet template promises — with the streaks, heatmaps and percentages worked out for you.
Habit tracker spreadsheets break when a formula is typed over, printables leave all the counting to you, and habit apps want a monthly fee. This opens from a double-click, works offline and keeps your mood history on your own device.
What it needs, and what it does not do.
Habit & Mood Tracker is an offline app from ColadoSystems that runs in your web browser from a folder on your own device. It costs $12.99 once, with no subscription and no account, and includes 16 tools, sample data to explore and a PDF guide. Your records stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Everything is saved inside your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, so no company holds a copy of your habits and moods. They are not encrypted, though: anyone who can use this device and browser can open them, so keep the device locked. Download a backup regularly (Settings → Data & backup → Back up now) and keep it somewhere as safe as the records themselves.
Yes. Open index.html and it runs fully offline. You can also host the folder on any website and choose “Install app” in Chrome or Edge to get a desktop or phone icon that works offline.
Yes. The layout adapts to phones and tablets with a bottom navigation bar. Each device keeps its own data, so use Back up / Restore to move records between devices.
Go to Settings → Data & backup → Erase records. Every sample habit, check-off and mood is removed, and so is the sample sentence for the year. Your own name and settings are kept. To start a new year with your own habits, use Start fresh instead — it keeps your habits.
Only planned days count. An every-day habit needs every day; a Monday-Wednesday-Friday habit only those three days, so a Tuesday never breaks it. A times-a-week habit keeps its streak in weeks: a week counts once the number is reached, on any days, and the week in progress never breaks it. Today is never a miss until it is over, a skipped day neither counts nor breaks the streak, and paused days are left out.
Planned days done, divided by planned days. Skipped and paused days are left out, today counts only once it is done, and a times-a-week habit counts whole weeks, so a Monday never shows it at 0%.
No. It is your average mood on days you did a habit against days you did not, from your own entries, with the number of days behind each figure. It is a pattern, not a cause — a good day can make a walk more likely just as much as the other way round. It appears only with at least 14 days of mood in the window and 3 days on each side. This is a personal tracker, not medical advice; if low moods last or worry you, talk to a doctor or another qualified professional.
Your habits stay. From the date you choose, current and best streaks and the headline percentages count again from zero. Earlier check-offs and moods stay in the heatmaps, the year in pixels and the monthly reviews, unless you chose to erase them in the Start fresh window.
Yes. Set Times a day above 1 — for example 8 glasses of water. Each tap adds one, the minus button takes one off, and the day counts as done when the number is reached.
Yes — the moon button at the top switches between light and dark, and Settings → Appearance can follow your device. Printouts always come out light.
