HVAC Estimate Calculator is an offline app from ColadoSystems that runs in your web browser from a folder on your own device. It costs $29.99 once, with no subscription and no account, and includes 12 tools, sample data to explore and a PDF guide. Your records stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Does this software require an internet connection or cloud subscription?
No. Your estimates, price books, costings and printed proposals all live on your own computer or tablet. There is no account, no subscription and no server, so it keeps working with the internet switched off.
What is the difference between Markup % and Gross Margin %?
Markup is the percentage added on top of your costs: (Selling Price - Cost) ÷ Cost. Gross Margin is the percentage of the final selling price that you keep as gross profit: (Selling Price - Cost) ÷ Selling Price. For example, a 50% markup yields a 33.3% gross margin. The calculator has built-in real-time conversion between both methods!
Can technicians use this on iPads, tablets, or in service vans without Wi-Fi?
Yes! Simply save the project folder onto your device or cloud folder (Files app on iOS, Chrome on Android/Windows/Mac). Open index.html in any modern browser, and it operates completely offline with instant responsiveness.
Can I put my own company details and terms on proposals?
Yes. In Settings, "Company profile & estimate branding" takes your business name, phone, email, website, address, tax ID and HVAC license number, and "Standard terms & disclaimer text" takes your own wording. Proposals print those. Until you fill them in, a proposal shows "Your business" and a note telling you where to add them, so nobody else's company ever goes out on your paperwork.
Does it come with sample data, and can I get rid of it?
When you first open it, the app asks whether to load sample data or start empty. If you loaded the samples and want them gone, open Settings and click "Clear all data and start fresh"; it stays empty when you reopen the app. "Reload sample data" on the same page puts them back.
Can several people use it at the same time?
No. It is made for one person on one device, and records do not sync between devices. To move to another device, save a backup and restore it there.
Can customers book or pay online through it?
No. It runs offline on your own device, so there is no booking page for customers and it does not take card payments. You record bookings and payments in it yourself, including ones taken by phone, card reader or another website.
