A printable end of life planner is a PDF you fill in by hand: it cannot tell you what is missing, and every change means writing it out again. This opens from a double-click, works offline, keeps your plan on your own computer and prints a fresh binder whenever something changes.
What it needs, and what it does not do.
End of Life Planner is an offline app from ColadoSystems that runs in your web browser from a folder on your own device. It costs $24.99 once, with no subscription and no account, and includes 16 tools, sample data to explore and a PDF guide. Your records stay on your device and are never uploaded.

Everything is saved inside your browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded and there is no account, so no company holds a copy of your plan. They are not encrypted, though: anyone who can use this device and browser can open them, so keep the device locked. Download a backup regularly (Settings → Data & backup → Back up now) and keep it somewhere as safe as the records themselves.
Yes. Open index.html and it runs fully offline. You can also host the folder on any website and choose “Install app” in Chrome or Edge to get a desktop or phone icon that works offline.
Yes. The layout adapts to phones and tablets with a bottom navigation bar. Each device keeps its own data, so use Back up / Restore to move records between devices.
Go to Settings → Data & backup → Erase records. Every sample record is removed, and so are the sample owner’s name and details, the review dates and the printing dates, so nothing of hers ends up on your binder. Your other settings are kept.
No, and it is not legal advice. It records your wishes and where things are, so the people you leave behind can find them. A will, a trust or a power of attorney is only valid if it is made the way the law where you live requires; a lawyer can tell you how. This planner records where those documents are kept.
Anything typed into the app sits on this device, in every backup file and on every printed copy. So each account records where its password is kept instead (a password manager, a notebook, a sealed envelope), and the login box refuses anything that looks like a password.
It hides them on this screen. The letters are not encrypted: anyone who can use this device and browser profile, or who holds a backup file, can still read them. The PIN is never written into a backup, and “Forgot PIN?” with the word RESET clears it without deleting anything.
Each section has a list of checks, such as a beneficiary for each policy or someone to tell each person on the list. A section’s meter is the checks done divided by the checks that apply, rounded down, so it only reads 100% when every check is done. Checks about “each” record only count once there is at least one such record, and anything you mark as not applying leaves the count.
It is your last review plus the interval you choose under Settings → The plan (12 months unless you change it). Before your first review, it counts from the day you started the plan. A review due within 30 days is flagged on the dashboard, and an overdue one goes to the top of Needs attention.
No. The Emergency & Home Binder is for emergencies: who to call, where the shut-offs are, a medical summary for each person, insurance, the home and its maintenance. This planner is about planning for your death: your final wishes, who to tell, where the will and your accounts are, your digital legacy, letters, your story, and a checklist for your executor.
Yes. They can open the same folder on the same computer, or restore your backup file on their own computer, and tick off the executor checklist as they go. Keep a recent backup with the binder, and tell them where both are.
No. It is made for one person on one device, and records do not sync between devices. To move to another device, save a backup and restore it there.
